SEA GOWN -He watches me

Free album: get it while its hot!

Through a blue-green glow of halogen headlight electronic fog, the night stars pulse and fade. The air hangs sweet and strange, the cosmik tides rush in a throbbing heartbeat rhythm; lapping at naive feet learning to dance the last rave of a dreaming island’s eternal adolescence. The moon’s reflection is rippling soft like a voice through sharp clockwork fractal waves… radio waves pushing, echoing from fading futures, ghost signals from Moroder’s Metropolis, crackle into being: forgotten/hidden love poems written on digital delay. The key and the engine turn, the last drag burns, and the wheels find the road as our night drives into sunrise. Sea Gown is the stereo soundtrack. This weeks Bummer Bliss. Enjoy.

SEA GOWN // SEA GOWN by Peter Densmore

Peter Densmore, the dude behind SEA GOWN, was visiting friends in his hometown of Carbondale over break and unassumingly left a CDR of a new project he had been working on. After sifting its way through the layers of beer cans and loose records produced by an average weekend it was picked up on a whim and popped into a laptop and thusly revealed as thee proverbial jam, a true joint, a diamond in the rough. The influences can be heard quite clearly (the lessons from Moroder paid in full), and the sound shares ground with Synthpop Statesmen like John Maus and M83, but Sea Gown is unmistakably developing its own zones.

We here at Bummer Bit are as stoked to share it as we are to see where it goes.
