Our mysterious, hardest working, and favorite artist in the electronic industry at the moment (in my opinion at least) dropped a quick 20-minute signature ℳ.Ⅰ.✕. †.▲.℘.Σ.  for Fake Diamonds Clothing (another fave) today, making that his third mix thus far. I know, we just posted about Slow Magic, but he really is our favorite over here at Bummer Bit.  As explained in the post below, he priemered his first ℳ.Ⅰ.✕. †.▲.℘.Σ  right here on Bummer Bit Radio, which was amazing, considering at the time our site wasn’t even finished. He was the first person I’ve contacted to do a guest mix. Surprisingly, he was more than happy to do it (and so was I). His newest track “moon” that dropped a few days ago, almost completes his album, though it is still up in the air on who will distribute it or what label he will go with. He has said that he expects a vinyl release in the EU under a smaller label, with a few big names on it. I won’t disclose anymore on this because it isn’t set in stone yet. But seriously; why hasnt this man been signed in th U.S.?!? He’s got chops, he’s got the skill, he’s gained a fan base pretty much all by himself with only bloggers promoting him. I would kill to see him get signed to an amazing label like Ghostly or moodgadget. Sam Valenti IV!!  Jakub!!! Scott Hansen!!! This man needs signed. If I had the money to press vinyl, I would be on this like a heartbeat.  Think about it. He fits right in. Graphic designer, glowing beats, slo-fi bliss. I don’t know. I’m a huge fan of moodgadget/ghostly/iso50 and I really think he fits in one of those. He deserves the recognition they could give him. Just think, a Slow Magic Ghostlycast?!?!!? I can dream can’t I? I hope Jakub or Scott read this and truly take into consideration the perfect fitting of a Slow Magic addition. He’s not just hype; he’s the real deal, folks.

Bonus: the design above is another one of  Slow’s fantastic designs  and will be the cover of his new LP which which hasn’t officially been announced yet . Fake Diamonds Clothing  willl be releasing a shirt design in colaboriation with  Slow Magic’s release.

spf5Ø who’s a part of the Aural Sects takes Kloaks  grungey witch chugger and screws it into this masterpiece that I havent been able to stop listening to. I already loved the original Kloaks track but this version is much more fun and not over done with the stutters and chops. Well done Kloaks and spf5Ø. Im happy to award you this weeks Bummer Bliss.

I have really been into Heathered Pearls music lately and his minimalistic graphic work always grabs me. Im a fan of both the music and his designs. VEKTROID  NEO MIAMI

VEKTROID nailed it.. NEO CALI sounds exactly what it I expect a vintage version of future California to be like. Vektroid doesnt just make music, she creates visions of things that could be or should have been, not soundscapes, lifescapes. Nostalgic visions of futures past. Vektroid encompases what i like to call vintage future. She gets it, here is her quote on her tumblr.

Apparat – Song Of Los 

Wow, I’ve been trying to avoid doing a post on the new Apparat because it gets more then enough attention. But i just heard this track and felt the need to post. The vocals are pretty generic and not usually what i’m into.. but there’s something about all of it that just grabbed me. The lyrics.. the lyrics and the music. Widowspeak – Harsh realm

I just realized i’ve been stuck  focusing on mostly electronic music a bit too much lately. So I started digging around and listening to some of my faves like Wooden Shjips and and Woods. Then i see a name I havent seen before pop up in youtube. Widowspeak.. hmm. Ok lets give it a go, Harsh Realm sounds rad. Le click… What I heard next I was not expecting. For a second I thought I was listening to the Pixies or a late 60”s band? no wait, Nirvana? Then her voice comes in and my heart melts. No.. this is something special. This is sadness but, I’m smiling. Her voice is making me smile. The slow grunge grind is making me groove. I dont know what to call it. It doesnt really matter, you can call it what you want, i’m calling it this weeks Bummer Bliss.
