I was just listening to Falcon Punch‘s 001 mix today, thinking how much I missed really good disco house. Scrolling through my daily soundcloud’s I see Falcon Punch just released a new mix with his new track “Illusions” as the opener. Check it out. I haven’t been posting as much as I used to and definitly haven’t been posting Disco House as much as I used to. I hope this one makes up for it! Thanks Falcon Punch. I had never heard Cadillac until our friends over at Synesthesiæ Films did their a/v set on Halloween and I had to check out more. Maybe a little late on the game with this one, but it’s too damn good not to promote. Everyone should check out these Aussies. This comes directly from their soundcloud and pretty much sums it up:

“Cadillac is an Australian luxury vehicle marque signed to Future Classic. If you like guitar solos, slow mo piano jams and the sounds of balearic, disco, pop and rock then we might have just the vehicle for you”

They also just released an official video for “Endless Summer” and it’s pretty damn amazing. This album and video are this week’s BUMMER BLISS. Rightfully so, and perfectly executed. This is vintage future.

I may be a couple months late on this one.. but i have to post it. I just found out about it and cfcf is a bummer bit fave. Also, I love mixes. Especially with dj’s who arent afraid to pull out the odd track and mix in different genres. I think I have heard cfcf do quite a bit of different genres. He’s hard to peg. Thats a good thing. No one should be stuck to one musical style in my opinion. This track list is so good. Intro fright night? rad. Brian eno’s mist/rhythm release. I wonder if thats what he based this mix off of.
