mp3 – Dub your heart – htrk bootleg | Bummer Bliss | Update stream album

If you havent noticed Ghostly is probably my favorite art+music collective of mine. I hadn’t really been paying attention to their new artist HTRK until I fell upon this track presented by pandoras jukebox. I think I will have to check out more from this up and comer. I am still unclear if HTRK himself did this bootleg or if it was a remix of eat your heart out off his album “Work (work work)”  which is stated for release sept 5th, Pre-order just announced today at http://mistletone.net/shop/htrk/ . Either way.. I am in love with this Dub your heart track. This is dub.. pure and simple.. also.. the latest bummerbliss

mp3 – New Dead Gaze 10″ out for preorder on Group Tightner

I dont know how R. Cole Furlow, aka Dead Gaze,  Keeps pumping out this amazing lo-fi drowning grunge gaze. I can hardly keep up with all his releases. Dont get me wrong, im not complaining. I love his stuff and dont want him to stop! Please dont stop! So it goes without saying that as soon as I saw this,

Pre-order Dead Gaze 10”

GT11 in my inbox this morning, I bought it.

My first exposure to Dead Gaze was via a cassette release called “End of days, Why not you” . Which was also the begining of my cassette collection obsession.  So I’m kind of attached to his music since it was my introduction into cassette culture. Keep churning out tunes Dead Gaze, and i’ll keep buying that steeze. swag.

The solvent story hype… either way, ” RDJCS5 -ep ” is still an amazing ep

solvent

RDJCS5 -ep

In April 2006, a Yamaha CS5 monosynth, having been owned by Richard D James (Aphex Twin), with the actual liner notes for his landmark “Selected Ambient Works Volume II” etched into the bottom, was sold at VEMIA auction for approximately $1200 – a bargain in retrospect. The winning bidder was, in fact, a friend of Solvent’s, and the synth resides not in a display case, but in Solvent’s studio, on generous long-term loan.

You can find the rest of the story  about rdjcs5 -ep here and here.
